Can all players playing in Sundays Barnsley League game at home to Maltby please remember that it is a 1.30pm start!

Please can all players be prepared to have their photograph taken for the website in the last couple of games of this season.

The website is boring at the minute and so I am going to try (and possibly fail) sprucing it up.

This seasons final fundraiser (in conjunction with the hockey club) is taking place on the 4th of September.

There is a live band performing at 7.30(ish) and the BBQ will be fired up with both burgers and hot dogs available for the large sum of £2. The bar will also be open offering a wide range of beverages!

Entrance by ticket or on the night.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for juniors and are available from Shaun Cowan and Nick Hutton!

A big thank you to the Capstick family for all of the hardwork they have put in transforming the Finningley facilities from a dump to a super clean and welcoming pavilion!!!! 

It cant have been an easy job (especially the toilets which were more suitable for spiders than humans before the make over!)

The transformation has been needed for a very long time but the 'forgotten finno' is now on the way up!

Next on the agenda is a new score board and hopefully some new screens as using a football net as a support is not the best idea!

The evening league team have won the league after beating Hooten Pagnell on Tuesday night!

Well Done lads, if only we could have won the cup as well (those damn rules!)

A karaoke night is being held in the club on Saturday night! Everyone is welcome so make sure you are there to witness some incredible singing talent and some not so incredible singing talent!

The weekend ahead promises to be an interesting one as there are a large number of people unavailable to play (some say as many as 17.) It is rumoured that a number of 'oldies' are dusting down their kits and coming out of retirement and the average age of the 3rd team will be about 50 years more than it was last week!

Dont forget DTCC take on Doncaster Rovers in a 20/20 tomorrow (29th July) at 5pm!!!!

It is with regret that I have to report that DTCC have had another disappointing Saturday!

It all started with the 1sts travelling to York, batting first and being all out for 155. In reply, York knocked off for the loss of only 1 wicket in 19 overs.

The 2nds played host to Norton Woodseats. Town won the toss and put Woodseats into bat first with them finishing on 215-8. In reply, Town could only manage 183 when their last wicket fell with Rhys Mann top scoring with 63 and Lewis Brown chipping in with 41.

The 3rds travelled to Rotherham Phoenix where they were put into bat first. A strong 1st innings from Town saw them make 230-5 in their 46 overs, Ryan Capstick top scored with 86 and Jimmy Deans made a well earned 65.

In reply, Phoenix knocked off with 8 overs left.
