Welcome to the official website of Doncaster Town Cricket Club. We currently have five senior teams and eight junior teams ranging from under 9's to under 17’s. From the 2012 season the club will have a 6th senior team with a 4th Xl playing on a Saturday in the South Yorkshire Alliance League. The idea behind this team is for more junior players to be given the opportunity to play senior cricket for the club. This winter has also seen the club playing in its first season in the indoor cricket league.
Our first team are in the ECB Yorkshire Premier League and both the 2nds and 3rds play in the South Yorkshire League. Our 3rd team plays all its home games at Finningley, a ground which will be shared with the new 4th team. We also have a Sunday Team who play in the Barnsley league as well as an Evening League Team who play in the Doncaster Evening League.
Doncaster Town Cricket Club is very proud of its junior development which see’s its teams playing in both the Sheffield and Doncaster leagues. The club is also proud of the fact that over recent years we have constantly seen our junior players representing both the district and county side. One of the club’s biggest successes was Richard Dawson who progressed from an excellent junior career to representing both Yorkshire and England at senior level.
The club has support of local companies and businesses within the area and we are grateful for there support but as a club we are constantly looking for new sponsors.
